Bang & Olufsen is renowned for its innovation, elegance, and superior audiovisual craftsmanship. This project focuses on studying and understanding the brand’s design philosophy and values to develop a new air purifier that aligns with Bang & Olufsen’s aesthetics while catering to the needs and preferences of Indian consumers.
Problem:

While Bang & Olufsen is known for
high-end audiovisual products, expanding into home wellness solutions requires a deep understanding of both the brand's identity and Indian lifestyle needs. The challenge lies in designing an air purifier that seamlessly integrates into luxury living spaces while addressing air quality concerns in India.

My role:
Product Designer leading the research and conceptualization of the Bang & Olufsen air purifier.

Goal:

To research and analyze Bang & Olufsen’s brand language, product design principles, and market positioning to create an air purifier that reflects their premium identity while being functional and relevant to Indian consumers.
